Good spot! - Rating 5/5

What we enjoyed:- Phil is great and added in some nice bonuses upon meeting our family and seeing our needs.- clean- the bed situation was perfect for our family of three (one king and one twin)- reasonably priced. We didn't need a lot of frills as we were gone most of the day.- close enough that the parents could take turns enjoying a solo walk to or from townWhat we would change:- it will help when the bridge returns and the walk to town is off of the main roads. We would have preferred to park the car in the evenings and just walk to and from town for dinners. The walk was just a little too long for that.- Phil is in the process of refurbishing the old dining area into another room (which will be beautiful!). It will be good if there could be access to things like bowls, utensils, a microwave, etc for eating cereal or heating take away food.

Good peaceful location & nice room. - Rating 5/5

I like the location of this B&B as it's a short walk out of Betwys-Y-Coed & as such is nice and peaceful but still with easy enough access to all the facilities in the town.

Couldn't have asked for better- Rating 5/5

My mum and i absolutely loved our stay, we had such a beautiful and clean room. The views were the reason we booked and they were even better in person than on the photos! Phil is a lovely host and we will definitely be back again in the future.

Very Pleasant Stay - Rating 4/5

Maes Y Garth is set up on a hill with lovely views of the surrounding area. It is a ‘room only’ set up, situated just outside the pretty town Betws Y Coed where you will find shops and eateries. It is approx 20 min walk into the town. There is a ‘short cut’ across the river, however the footpath (bridge) is currently closed for repairs. The Guesthouse itself is very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated with tea/coffee facilities in your room (fresh milk stored in a fridge just outside the rooms).Phil the owner is very helpful/attentive to all your needs. There is a tv and hairdryer in every room and toiletries provided.I was on a weekend break with my husband and two kids (young adults) and we all had a very pleasant stay.I booked last minute so had the rooms at the back, if you book early the rooms at the front have the better views.

Fabulous place to stay!- Rating 5/5

A beautiful room with high standards and a great host! The most comfortable bed, great viewswith fabulous balcony terrace.Just a short walk to town.Just be mindful to bring your own brekkie if you’re looking for an early start as the cafe doesn’t open until 8.30am. There is a fridge to keep it in!

Comfortable clean and easy stay- Rating 4/5

Room was clean , comfortable and spacious with en-suite. We were in room 5 which was advertised with patio and view over valley but view was mostly over the car park and some trees . If you want an actual view book a room on top floor with balcony.Easy process for arrival and departure and plenty of parking .
